Logic7 Equalizer Settings...

Does anyone on here have a guide or able to post their own EQ settings?
No matter how I tune it there seems to be flat spots in certain parts of the audio or across different genres. I could not find anything in the manual that can be used as a guide so any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I tried the settings posted on the forum several months ago and it's honestly not that great.

Personally I use this:

Tone Settings
Bass: +1
Treble: +2
Balance: 0
Fader: +2 (towards rear)
L7 Surround: Enabled

Equalizer
100 Hz: +3
200 Hz: +2
500 Hz: +1
1 kHz: 0
2 kHz: +1
5 kHz: +2
10 kHz: +3

Like what the other threads mention, to each their own really. Doesn't matter if you take advice from a sound engineer or a avid Coachella attender, what sounds best to you works best for you.

Personally I set mine like this because I got used to the clarity in Bang & Olufsen high-ends and this setup seemed to help. I also gave +2 to the rear because before, it sounded like music is favor towards the front of the car, but I like to hear to the music surrounding me.

I got my settings to:

Tone Settings
Bass: +2
Treble: +3
Balance: 0
Fader: 0
L7 Surround: Enabled

Equalizer
100 Hz: +4
200 Hz: +3
500 Hz: +2
1 kHz: 2
2 kHz: +1
5 kHz: +2
10 kHz: +3

Depends also on quality of music, if you are more related to mp3z w/256bit rate, you can use this also for CD. Radio may come bit to strong sharp.

This is true. When the sound settings are too crisp, I definitely hear the shitty radio quality...

same here... the b&o sound in my Q7 is very clear no matter how loud i set the volume but no punch on any song unless i change the setting to movie which creates a deeper bass sound but no matter which pre-set choice you choose there is no eq to adjust to personal preference. meanwhile on the RRS-SC i owned with L7 i had tons of bass but no clear highs and lots of rattle/vibrations.
