2015 328i xDrive..lots of coding. Bilstein B14 PSS. Still dialing in ride height. Had 19s staggered setup but found it too harsh. Prob gonna stay with the square 18s and will slap some spacers on. Carbon fiber '3 style mirror caps. Front and rear stress bars. And for vanity, red billet aluminum oil filter cap. But does make removal a snap! Just ate a rock that cracked windshield but oem shield is on order.

I got this shot by myself last night, got a Mini 2 up in the air, strapped a mic to the tow hook, hit record on the dashcam, and pulled a short run on public roads.
Proof of concept more than anything

Does the strut bar make any noticable handling improvement?

I can say, and not just from a seat of the pants thing, that you will notice and appreciate the difference immediately. Prior to installation, if you were changing directions, and you paid acute attention, you can feel a lull prior to the front end making that change. Once it's on, the car's reaction is immediate, firm, and confident. Going over uneven pavement is different. It's all just firmer and instills a sense of solidity you didn't have before the strut tower brace, by the very dynamics of the function of that component. I won't take it off for any reason. The M3 / M4 and other higher performance models come with them installed, for a reason. And it's the cheapest upgrade to the driving experience you can make. I am waiting for the front lower and rear lower to come. All from the same manufacturer.

What brand is the strut tower brace and where did you purchase it? Is it a DIY install?

Duly noted, I just started messing with improving stuff with a Dinan chip and am getting into brakes this weekend. I had wondered about those after market additional strut tower braces myself.

That looks quite at home at the bottom of a ski slope, the extra clearance was a deciding reason in getting the GT for me living West of Denver and wanting to get to the slopes. That aftermarket spoiler looks good combined with the other little touches, good work!

I have one, and it's not for looks. Aluminum sheds heat, plastic doesn't. Heat is the reason why oil filter housing gaskets fail.

Apparently they don't make much in that dept for the N55, I've been trying all the googles for a bit without luck.

Thank you! And looking forward to some snow pics from your area this winter...I'm sure it will blow away anything I could muster down here in AZ.

Got some good runs in for peak leaves in CO, also got the brake juice done with the Motive pressure bleeder and got a Dinan Sport Tune chip in. It makes noticeable improvements for sure, but you have to get ahold of Dinan to get a copy of the app that works on any newer phone. I will update with 0-60 launch control video when I get a better shot, I just started recording audio off the tow hook along with dash cam and drone shots to get the hang of new video editing software.

Mind if I ask what exact brand you picked up? I’m only turning up plastic caps.

On a separate note, just picked up a 2017 340i. Crossing over from a Ram 1500 as my wife got an SUV and I could get away with a sedan/hatch. Loving the car so far. Only complaints would be on the steering wheel center dead point, but that’s about it.

Just got done installing Wi-Fi antenna for the CarPlay and some fiddling on Bimmercode. Are any of the other coding apps worth getting or are they all redundant?
