Those with a front lip.. do you replace it after it breaks?
It finally happened boys. The front lip completely busted off and I knew that shiz was coming off 20 minutes before it was going to happen.
I lowered my car with a new set of KW coilovers. Drives like heaven but the front lip blew off. How does one grieve/cope with this situation? Is it worth even just replacing? Or do you guys just remove it and call it a day for good? |

I replace mine. Im on #4 right now. I have a CF lip so they're usually about $500. It usually cracks if I don't angle right exiting driveways too many times. I had one fly off on the highway at about 135 MPH. That's why I havent lowered it yet.

The issue with mine is that the original one was put on with betalink, so I cant go without now.
I'm on my 2nd (need to replace it though haha)

I might actually just sand the broken part and keep the fog light splitter on |

From the beginning, I always have a pair: one on the car, one in the garage.
(That is called "prepared for the future" ) |

Mine hasn't ripped off, but it looks good without the lip as well, if mine goes, it's taking the bumper with it lol I reinforced it hard in the center support with a plate behind the bumper |

I'm on #3. Hit random furniture on the freeway and one came off at about 110 while chaining lanes on the freeway. I usually get an ebay one and have it paint matched. Most recent one has really held up well though.

The wheels definitely show a bit more of a conservative OEM+ look! Brakes are made here in Korea (based in Korea). Model is Neotech 4P, which is the highest quality brakes available for aftermarkets here. Rotor sizes are 355mm! More pics attached |

front lip
does the front lip actually decrease drag or scoop more air into anywhere or help it remain stable or is it just for looks? simplyeric the rims look AMAZING! i got dished 17x9 apex on my alpine white , i took a chance but turned out really really nice especially with the saddle leather inside(i swear i didnt plan that!)

Damn I'll have to look into it, did you do just the fronts? Hard to see the rear, if just the fronts, how's the braking feel? Car is so cleannn I'm going for a similar look myself with mine but aiming at a bronze or dark gunmetal wheel color
As I get older. The more I appreciate the oem plus look |

After having it broken off, it actually drives great. Now that the front lip is completely busted off, I am only left with the remaining splitters under the fog lights. Here are some pics of the car without the lip!! |

But to be honest, if you want a clean AF look, silvers are the BEST for an OEM+ sleek look. Here are some pics of the gunmetals on the f31 with the same offsets. As for the rear breaks, not yet! Going to get them next week. Upgraded brakes is definitely something worth getting. But suspension upgrade is ABSOLUTELY crucial to me! The wheels look sooooo good with a slightly lowered setup. It makes them look way better than just slapping on a pair of 19" wheels. All preference, but a sleek look is my preferred way!! |

So so nice!
My wheel set up is looking like kansei tandem 18x9's I don't see many f30 with them and I think they'll look pretty aggressive, offset seems very decent compared to their 9.5 +22 lol |
