Black grill is not just a black grill

Give me your thought a bit, left matte black or right gloss black?

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. However, neither of those provides much protection for the radiator or condenser coils. That's why I did this:

If you stay with a black grille there are black screens you can use.

For me, gloss black. Not a fan of matte black, it always reminds me of basic spec cars where the bumpers/door handles haven't been painted.

Wow you have done a epic job. Any sharing post of more photos for your grill?

That's all I've got. I took apart the stock grilles, which are made of two pieces that snap together. I cut off the vertical slats with a multi cutter, put the two pieces back together, cut the aluminum mesh to size, glued it to the inside of the grille with silicone adhesive. On the bottom section I cut the mesh to size, wrapped the edges with this:
https://www.amazon.com/Edge-Trim-Bla.../dp/B00KG9BAY0

It's secured to the lower grille with plastic zip ties.

I bought a glossy black grill pair off AliExpress and I like the look. It was cheap, but looks nice and not too shiny.

Matte. Black cars need contrast.

If you like the slats, I imagine you could use the plastic mesh-like products and attach that behind the slats. What do you think, Is that possible?
