I hope it works out nicely for the remainder cases... although, my sales guy said there was some sort of deadline for settling a Halifax recall set by BMW Canada. Not sure how true that is.

that's just Serpa ... I am sure there are probably still hundreds of cases out there at the stalemate stage. So, based on what my buddy's dealing with Serpa, dealer told him the 'preferred' deadline was set back in October 2015, as you can see, there isn't really an absolute deadline. I am sure those who are holding outs, they are now looking at MY2017. LOL.

This might not be related to this thread but does anyone know what the delays are currently with Halifax port? My car has been sitting there since Feb 12th and still isn't on the train for toronto. Supposedly the are quite a few cars just sitting waiting to get on the train. Wonder if anyone else's car is stuck there like mine.
