AUX Input on Stereo Cuts Out

I have a '13 F30 with the base stereo. I've been using a Mpow Bluetooth receiver with the 3.5mm cable for awhile without any issues. All music is streamed from my iPhone. During playback, it cuts out very briefly, but sometimes frequently, which is incredibly annoying. I've replaced the Mpow, aux cable, power adapter and even have a new iPhone. The issue still happens. I even bought a CD and tested that and FM. Those work fine. Issue only happens when on AUX. Has anyone had this issue before? I'm guessing an issue with the AUX input or wiring up to the stereo. I enjoy listening to music and this is driving me nuts.

Nobody has come across this before?

I bought Carly recently in hopes I could code the ECU to stream music over Bluetooth, but it doesn't seem to be an option.

Did BMW have an optional radio in my model that I could possibly replace the current stereo with?

Listen to music via your 3.5mm aux connection and rotate/move the cord a bit while it plays. Does the audio drop? Sounds like its the aux connection itself (its available separate and super easy to replace). Sometimes dirt/debris can get into the port and create issues, or the 3.5mm just goes from frequent use.
