Looking for SoCal Window Tint Shop

Does anyone know any tint shop that offers a "fix-it ticket warranty"? Basically they will reinstall it for free should you receive a ticket. I have heard of such warranty many times in various forums, but nobody specifies the tint installer name.

Currently have a 70% windshield, 35% fronts, and 20% for the three rear windows. Thinking about doing a 20% fronts (the current 35% is too light) but worried about fix-it tickets.

Thank you!

I got mine done years ago at Mike's Tint shop in Orange/Fullerton area but not sure if they still offer it.

Signature Glass Tinting

I believe they offer what you're asking too. Give them a call and ask.

That's like getting a free windshield replacement if you get a rock in it, let me know as well lmao.

I was just in court on monday and saw a dude get the ticket dismissed because he showed a doctors note lol

I've heard good things about Signature Glass Tinting:

Signature Tint Replacement Program
The SGTRP is a replacement program that we offer to our customers that must be purchased at the time of the installation. The SGTRP is a no-questions-asked removal and replacement program that can be used as many times as needed for as long as you own your vehicle. The SGTRP covers the front driver/passenger windows and allows you to change the shade of your tint at any time and also allows you to remove and replace your window film in the event that you receive a ticket or even a warning from law enforcement. Pricing starts at $30.00 and proof of purchase is required to utilize this program.

However I will say that living in Los Angeles for 3 years I've never received a ticket or been pulled over for my 15% all around window tint / 80% windshield. LA cops have more to worry about.

Wow.... there is such warranty in existence... I'll look you guys up on my next vehicle purchase.

As for limo tint... I love to have them but at night they are rediculously dark. I can't see behind them. I currently run 35% all around except front.

Thank you for all the replies! For some reason did not get the notification for this thread.

Looked up Signature Glass Tinting and it seems (from the website) they only offer Llumar, which has 15% tint instead of 20% tint. I'm afraid this will not match my back windows, though - will give them a call later. Mike's Tint Shop seems to have more varieties even though the Yelp reviews are not as good as Signature's.

Feel free to post any other shop recommendations! I will try to compare and shop around.

I thought they offered others. But regardless, Llumar CTX 15 is actually 20% VLT (Visible Light Transmission) which means it's really 20% even though its called 15. Many others are like this, including Formula One. I'm sure they will explain this on the phone. I went with Formula One Pinnacle 15 and it's perfect, no issues at night.

Window Tint Z on Western Ave is my go-to. Best pricing I found and will fix any bubbling/flaws with very good customer service. Very happy with my tint.

They do not offer the law enforcement or "we'll redo it if your window is shattered" warranty though.
