Stupid question...why would you want the digital speed on the Kombi when the speedo is right above it? I know I am missing something.

nice job on the grill install. i cringe when i hear about people loosening their entire bumper and forcing their hands / forearms behind it. i'm even bummed when people are breaking their OEM grill.

I installed mine just like you did.

how is your wheel search coming along? I'm pulling the trigger on wheels in March once the midwestern weather improves.

Sometimes a digital read of the speed is easier to read than the dial when entering speed trap areas. It's also nice to just have the extra feature.

I'm still looking. Since I want to stay with 19" my options are limited compared to 20". The more I think about it the more I want to stay with oem wheels. I just think BMWs look best with oem. That being said I think am about to pull the trigger on since 403 19" wheels.

You seem to have the same opinion as me regarding any and all amber on the car. One thing I also I did after my reflector delete, and coded my amber running lamps off, was change the lamp itself. BMW offers a silver shelled lamp do get rid of any orange reflection, it makes a drastic difference for little dollar. This photo is in daylight and is as much orange as it gets.

Thank you. I was planning on replacing the turn signals with led. Can you please let me know where I can buy the silver bulb you are referring to?

Looks to me like a simple LED light bar that you can get anywhere. I just did a google search and a ton popped up.

Update on this part number...

BMW says that it is a discontinued part. Get them from online outlets while they last!

Lamin-X Door Cups film

UPDATE: 12 Jan 2015 - Door handle cup film

Nothing too exciting for most but for me its a big deal. I absolutely cannot stand scratches in the door handle cups, especially on a white car as these scratches usually turn black. I have found that Lamin-X film or something similar helps prevents these scratches tremendously. Install took about 15 minutes for 4 doors and you can hardly see it. Next up headlights which will be much more difficult.

This is my second set of replica M Sport pedals I purchased from Ebay. The first set was a total disaster. The screws on the brake pedal were in different places than the OEM pedal but far worse was that the finish did match at all. The OEM dead pedal has a fairly obvious grain structure and has a satin like finish to it. This set is much closer to the OEM finish. The finish is bit shinier and the grain structure is not as obvious but overall I am happy, especially considering I spent 1/3 the price. From pics I have seen of the OEM pedals they too are a bit shinier than the dead pedal as well. I am sure one of these days my OCD will get the better of me and I will end up getting the OEM pedals but for now these will do.

Install was easy, taking about 2 mins. The gas pedal included some double sided 3M tape while the brake pedal is held in place securely by the form fitting rubber lip.

The parts came packaged nicely:

Instead of a flat piece of metal on top of rubber like the first set I purchased these have rounded edges:

And the install:

Tboooe, these are great, can you PM me the seller's details. Cheers
