You are right, I bought the cover from a forum member.

It was painted by a guy who does them on the various F3x Facebook groups.

He’s called Johnny Proffit.

Very nice. Are you keeping these over the 437s?

Did you sell the 513m?

Prefer the 437s myself. Great to see a man with so much passion for his car though!

it's weird seeing plain discs behind those rims, IMO some drilled and slotted rotors would really finish things off

I will shortly be fitting F10 M5 6 pot calipers with 400mm M2 comp ///M discs - so wheels will be well & truly filled!

Thanks! I've always modded my cars!

I am seriously considering getting the 666's powder coated satin black as it think my car suits darker wheels!

OK, so had a faff and removed the 666's - back on the 437's but with a satin black colour change and some fresh new MPSS rear boots:

That looks sooo much better. I personally think the 666's need the flared arches of the M cars to work.

Trouble with black wheels is they clash with the tyres and make the tyres look grey / dirty.

Each to their own but not to my taste, thought they looked much better in the standard finish you had.

OK, so finally I can update this..... with the results of my ongoing brake project in conjunction with Vagbremtechnic

To confirm, this is a pair of F10 M5 6 pot calipers fitted onto F3x chassis with a custom radial bracket. Pads are genuine BMW M5 items, and the discs are M2 Competition 400mm.

Pedal feel is fine, and the brakes have only done 150 miles so far, so are still being bedded in, but initial feel is very good.

Christ that looks a tight fit! although i think the design of the wheels makes it look closer than it is!

Hi R99, I saw way back at the beginning you bought a pack of the M performance diffuser and splitter. You haven't fitted the splitter yet so is it awaiting fitment or could you be persuaded to part with it??

Yeh, its a tight fit, but clearance on the barrel isn't too bad when viewed from behind..

fronts look super mean, I wasn't sure about the yellow but it's actually a nice contrast and really stands out from the standard msport+ blue.

Great job

Looks excellent!

Do you have a part number or link? Just slip straight on?

Nice, the yellow calipers contrast the pure blue paint well.

You'll just have to watch out for stones scoring the barrels quite an issue with M3/4 running CCBs with the larger discs and calipers on 19" 437m apparently.
