Service parts recommendations
The 4 year service included in the F30 328i has ended, and don’t want to pay top dollars to BMW for the next service. I’m starting to look into getting a few parts together for the next DIY service. Would appreciate it if somebody could make some recommendations on parts and which reliable website to get them from. I’m after parts that are more standard OEM or slightly above, nothing too extreme.
1. Oil filter 2. Air filter 3. Front brake pads and rotors 4. Rear brake pads and rotors 5. Brake fluid Thanks for your help. |

I have the same F30 328i as you. I bought the front and rear rotors from https://www.sparesbox.com.au/ (the rotors brand is Zimmermann ). I think sparesbox is having some discount atm so you will save a few hundreds bucks.
For genuine brake pads and sensors, oil filter, airfilter, i bought them eBay seller called bandw_parts. heap cheaper from the local dealer. I have a BMW mechanic come to my house to service my car and he charged me a very reasonable price. if you need a contact, feel free to PM me. |

I have a 2014 328i Mport I just get the OEM part number and buy genuine parts off ebay. "bandw_parts" rings a bell actually
The only thing i dont buy OEM is the rotors. I use slotedd dimpled ones (RDA). Gone through two sets now and they have been great I do my own servicing for most things on this car (Oil, filters, pads, rotors, wipers). Very easy About to do spark plugs and coil packs next. |

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I have purchased filters and is now looking for brake pads. I looked online for front brake pads and the oem pads are $180 a set. Can anyone suggest some good after market pads for less money? |
