WANTED: 340 exhaust system
If anyone has one of these for sale or would potentially be interested in a swap with a MPPSK one (cash my way) then please do let me know.

To be honest I just don't really like the noise of it. Exhausts are a personal thing and I think I'd just rather have the quiet refinement of the standard one in this car. It's our family car and don't think the dog appreciates it very much! Wife isn't too enamoured either

I did the same.
Sold the MPPSK exhaust and went back to the standard one. With the valves open it's ridiculously loud. I like to have the quicker gear changes in sport + without all the noise.

Not sure to be honest as I was more interested in securing a standard one first. If I was to do a swap then we would have to arrange a place that could take both cars and do it in one go.

Would the MPPSK sound the same without the tune though? Never heard one that was put on individually, ie not part of the full package

The MPE sound is similar when you have a straight through front pipe, although the noise from MPE to MPPSK is a nicer tone. |

Agreed.
I would really miss it though, if I removed it..

This is my end result https://streamable.com/vzk2k2 (Decat, bypass valve, resonator, MPE - the bypass valve has a pipe running straight to the tail pipes)

Are you still interested? I have a 440i with just the normal MPE and not the MPPSK so would be quieter and less obnoxious for you and I've been playing with the idea of upgrading to MPPSK.

I thought when MPPSK was fitted it came with a code in an envelope, and that the code was activated against the car for life.. as in non transferable?
