spare tyres
hey guys
I purchases an x3 a while ago. The tyres have been changed to non run flats. We only do local driving so no big deal if we get a flat but I'm curious what you guys have done regarding a spare if changed to non run flats. Have you purchased a spare or gone down the emergency repair route? Another question if the cars got 19 inch alloys does the spare have to be 19 inch or can you get away with a smaller size Thanks |

If you are driving locally, you should be ok with a compressor and, worst case, roadside assistance.
One option is a space saver like this... https://www.thewheelshop.co.uk/produ...kit-cover-bag/ Or a dynaplug - they sell them on amazon. http://www.dynaplug.com/buy.html Or you could just get a tin of tyre weld. Thankfully, my X3 has a space saver - but don't think they give that as an option anymore. |

Since having the X3 for just over 12 months I have picked up 4 punctures! Thanks to the bloodying builders across the road.
Was able to remove the screw and plug myself on two of holes myself with the dynaplug. Had a horrible one which required bmw assistance Thank god for tyre insurance that's all I can say!
