Battery replacement group size
I have a 2018 320i Xdrive and I have to replace my battery can't seem to find the type that I have in my vehicle. Currently I have a 92Ah 850CCA 160rc. The problem is the only batteries I can find with those specs are all group size 49, which when I enter my vehicle make and model, all say they don't fit my car. Every one that fits my car seems to be group size 94R but they only go up to 80Ah and 140rc. It is ok to go with an H8 battery with 80Ah, 850CCA, and 140rc as long as I register the battery with the proper specs?

The OEM 80Ah battery is part #61217555719. When you search that number quite a few hits come up. It is a size 94R, Group H7. They only go up to 80Ah, and they're all expensive, probably as it's not a common size. The more common 90/92Ah size 49 Group H8 battery is easily found at much better prices. According to realoem.com both were sold in the 320i. Since you know you have a 92Ah it's probably a size 49. A tape measure is all you need to confirm it. https://www.batteryequivalents.com/h...8-battery.html
