lease return, to fix or not

Thanks to my great luck, my front numper is cracked and the rear bumper has two very vsible indents, I'm guessing from front licence plate bolts of the nive person who was probably parking at 20 km/h...

Anyways, this is a lease so I will need to fix it before returning it. Years back when I had a similar situation with VW, the dealer told me to leave it as is and VW would charge me much less than what the dealer woud charge me... is that the case with BMW in Canada?

Plan B would be to order new bumpers in the US (much less $$$) and have them painted (750$) then swap em out my self.

Maybe get a quick quote from a mobile paint repair guy and it may be most economical fix.

did you get the wear and tear protection with the lease? that covers damages up to $7.5K upon lease return. The rear bumper dent would most likely be covered (double check with your dealer) and perhaps your front bumper damage also!
