Bavarian 428i mods begin
So I thought I would share a few of my mods with you guys.
I started with the front grill at the weekend. Fitted it myself with no worries in about 20 minutes. I'm real happy with this simple change up of color at the grill. |

I had the car lowered today!
Very happy with the results. And dropped a lot more than what I thought it would be.... - M Adaptive suspension - H&R sport springs The initial ride home was good. I could definitely feel that I was physically lower to the ground. It's not too bumpy considering how low it is. Cornering is nice and smooth and of coarse less body roll. BEFORE |

They were also kind enough to de badge the back as we'll at no extra charge. The shop gave me a courtesy car and I couldn't have been happier with the service.
The wheels definitely need spacers on the front and rear! Does anyone know what would be the best size for the front and rear? I don't want any rubbing issues though,..... I would rather not go out as far if it means I'm going to get issues. I'm looking to get some H&R TRAK+ spacers. Any advice would be great! |

The roof / shark Fin / roof rack edges and details are all getting wrapped tomorrow in high gloss black film to match the shadow line around the window and should look pretty nice with the window tint.

So today I took the car in to get wrapped in high gloss black to match the rear and side windows.
I also had the M Performance side films applied. I'm really happy! They really break the silhouette of the car and give it way better proportions IMO They managed to do a real nice job of the shark fin too which is something I was concerned about. The total job time was 2.5 hours and I waited while they did it as the shop was in the middle of nowhere. |

Wow, car looks awesome. Gloss black grills are definitely the way to go on this color, and I think any/all colors. I am not a fan of matte black grills.

1. Open bonnet 2. Peel back the friction lock rubber seal to reveal bumper screws 3. Remove screws 4. Pull back bumper enough to get your hand in to un clip the first grill 5. Remove the second grill through the cavity of the first 6. Simply click the new grills in position. Time - 20 mins |

You've inspired me to get the black grills for sure. I'm also going to consider getting the black vinyl wrap which I think looks great. I noticed your bimmerangs are body colored. Do they come that way in Germany or did you get them painted?
