N20 Dual Exit Exhaust

Want to do a muffler delete to dual tips (335i style) and i was wondering what the pipe diameter should be where the muffler was. Also i'm only finding exhaust tips with a 2.5in inlet and people are saying 3inch piping for the exhaust, is there any way the 2.5 inlet tips would fit?

The muffler shop has connectors and will make it fit just find one with solid reviews. I just had a 3 inch muffler installed on my f30 N20

A muffler shop can fabricate pipes to fit pretty much any size. The guy that I use let me watch and help out when I put a 435 muffler on my 428

Super easy. Did mine a while ago. So much better. Used the rear diffuser and muffler from a 335. Clips right in and bolts right on. Finished it off with tips from BMS.

Looks good ghost. How much louder is it than stock? Do you have a DP? Did you keep your resonator?

Here is a before/after.

At low revs, it is easily twice as loud with a much better/deeper tone.

In the higher revs, it is not much louder, just sounds better.
