I would make the PPK standard on the 435GC to make it sound like a higher spec engine to justify the extra couple of grand over the F32 lol.

What the heck is the difference between that and a regular 3 series? BMW is gone off the deep end!

+1. Thanks. The usual uninformed whining about anything new is really boring to read...
I don't know how many cars BMW sells in China. But I for one think that even in the US or Europe the market share of the non-traditional models (GT, GC, etc.) won't be unsubstantial. BMW has been bolder than its competitors in this regard, and that will likely pay off in the longer-term. |

The interesting and thus far unanswered question is: will the GC have the long wheelbase of the 3GT or not. The German car magazines have reported conflicting information about this. Many people don't know how much bigger the F34 is compared to the F30/F31. If the the 4GC is similarly large, it would really be close to the 5 series.

So it is a 4 door 4-series, or in other words a 3-series.
What is the point? I guess if it has a hatch rear trunk that will make it different. But the 6-series GC has a normal trunk lid. |

I think it looks very promising!
And make no mistake, whatever you(we) forum people may think of it, this car WILL sell! And it WILL look good! Wait till you see it for real before assuming its just like a 3Gt.

Yes it will have the 3GT's extended wheelbase.
No it will not have a hatch like the 5GT. Yes it will cost less than a similarly equipped 5 series (but not much considering the 5 has standard navi). But most important, it will look much sleeker than the 3 series - and they may have improved on look of the coupe's lower front bumper so Msport may not be a requirement! Now if I can just get past spending $52k+ and still not getting the 35i motor... |

I have to say I really don't see why this isn't just the 3er sedan.
All the best.

I don't understand the marketing logic.
Why did we do 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 sedan 1,3,5,7 Coupe 2,4,6 Please keep it simple. It hard for you guys to keep the prices low on these cars if you keep making multiple low selling quantity variances. Just a thought.

I remember it once was just a four door in the early stages but market demands caught up. The reveal will be in February for Geneva in March.
