Hello people,
I discovered my 330e (Sep 2017) has this HU, which I understand is a newer version of the HU_ENTRYNAV - I wonder what's new? And if it's easier to code or add Carplay? I plan to add a proper hifi system later so understand I'll need the HIFI coding to get a clean low lever signal.

Lastly, I saw pictures that show optical out on the unit, is it possible to tap into it and connect an amp/dsp with optical?

HU_ENTRYNAV2 has newer visuals and better HW under the hood. Don't know about CarPlay, since it is available officially only for NBT_EVO, but you can get eSys and check the coding forums.

Do you happen to know if it's capable of outputting music on MOST (with a Mosbridge or something similar?)

I have retrofitted HK 688 system on my EntryNav2, and that is connected via MOST, so it must be able to output music, but if it is something 100% BMW like I dont know

It is possible to add CarPlay to EntryNav 2 only if it has WiFi connector.
Regarding MOST, not every EntryNav2 head unit has MOST input/output connectors.
