It's 100% better. The one in the link is oem for m performance exhaust.. The one they send doesn't seal completely..

These cars just have quiet cabins. I always feel like my car isn't loud enough when I drive it but when I let others drive it and observe it from the outside perspective I always find it's the right amount of noise for me

Yeah, I agree with these cars having quite cabins. I always get compliments about how my car sounds (catless dp, res delete, stock muffler), but it sounds so quite from inside the car. Once you hear it from an outside perspective, it is perfect.

Res delete finally have me that sound I was looking for.. I was catless and valvetronic's system and I just needed a bit more but now it's perfect. But yeah with windows up and low music I still don't hear it as much as I want lol, these cars just do a damn good job of dampening.

just an idea, something I thought might be pretty cool and thought about doing myself. Instead of just doing a res delete, see if a muffler shop can replicate the akrapovic mid-pipe. I don't see it being too hard, the shop would just have to weld 2 y-pipes and make a few bends along the path for clearance, paired up with a good axleback would probably sound dope!

what do you guys think about the idea of having a muffler shop replicate the akrapovic mid pipe. I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard AND would make the car louder than just a res delete like what OP is trying to do.

It's a "luxury" car yes but I didn't buy my 335 for luxury at all, I bought it for the performance and the platform support it has. People do buy these cars for different reasons...

I hear what you're saying but I highly doubt there are many people that buy these cars for pure performance.

Plus, if performance was your main objective or first choice then you should of got a 2 series or b58 powered vehicle.

Plus, if performance was your main objective or first choice then you should of got a 2 series or b58 powered vehicle.
I mean I love the 2 series but I wanted a bigger car coming from my E46 and B58 wasn't as far along as it was when I got my car.. I also could care less as I'm going stage 3 anyway so there won't be too big of a difference; bolt on to bolt on B58 always will beat the N55
