Forgot to update this. Caps went on without a hitch with the second pair, and no issues with returning the one that didn't fit and the extra. Here's a pic after a fresh ceramic coat over the weekend.

I have the same color bmw as the OP, do you find the carbon sticks out against the mineral grey? I'm wondering how noticeable the carbon even is

Hey I'm the op and I actually have BSM paint but I'm sure on black or mineral grey it won't stick out so much compared to white!
