Today I disconnected the exhaust flap. Can't really tell that much of a difference.

Today I put in smoke replacement side-markers (amber be gone!). I like it with the EB (dirt n all)... and my future cf trim.

So what’s the inside scoop on some nice stealth signal bulbs (incandescent or LED) for my 4? Looking for drop-in, no mods/CEL issues.
As you can see I’ve got an F36 M Sport with Xenon-adaptive headlights, and just want to change the evil outer signal lamp bulbs.

TIA,
Tom in Denver

Check out superbrightleds.com, they sort bulb fitment by model of car so it’s easy to find, and they are affordable. Quality is good, I put mine in more than a year ago and they’ve been great. You will require coding though, or else your dash will keep telling you the lights are out, not to mention you’ll get a flicker every few minutes while the car is running

Dumb question but how did you pop out the cover in the wheel well? I wasn't able to open mine today with a trim tool.

The two tabs need to be pressed down to release the cover:

These are incandescent, so no coding needed - OSRAM Diadem Chrome PY21W

Thanks for the inputs.

So I found that I need PY24W bulbs (they have a crazy extended plastic base) for my front signal lights on my ‘16 435 (bi-xenon adaptive).

I think I’ll go with a name brand incandescent - in stealth silver/amber finish - even though they’re pricey. I don’t think I want any LED-related hassles (quality/lifespan) or CANBUS compatibility issues I’ve seen mentioned.

Wow it's sure been awhile but
MPE w/ carbon fiber tips as well.
Definitely love it.

Got FMIC and chargepipe to install but it's been pretty darn cold here by me so I've just been waiting on that.
(No garage sadly) and (I promise to get a better pic later today haha)

I'd be interested to see with the bonnet/ hood closed to get the full effect.

Pretty easy, just gotta take out the some of the screws on the front bumper and unclip the the grills, you can probably do it without unscrewing the top of the front bumper but it's way harder

Suits the black well. Not sure it would work as well on my AW. Congrats.
