LCI LED headlight retrofit w/ yellow DRL's - install completed!!
For me this was a long time coming and the single most involved car mod i've ever done to date. in the end i think my homework really paid off as the coding only took me a couple of minutes with only one stressful slight panicky moment, instead of days & possible failure. in hindsight it was very expensive for the OEM headlights and all of the modules. if i lived stateside and had an LHD car I would probably just go with a cheaper aftermarket solution (but couldn't find any for my RHD car).
I've not driven the car at night yet but the headlights do look amazing and even more updated than my previous 2016 pre-LCI LED ones did!! massive shout out to the forum as a whole for answering most of my questions and pointing me in the right direction for the required coding/software. if anyone needs help with this i will be glad to assist, cuz if i could do it, then pretty much anyone could do it oh i also did the fog delete while the bumper was off. coded out fogs, removed fogs, removed fog grills, and inserted fogless grills. i actually think that single mod makes a significant difference on the overall look of the front end personally
