435i Axel replacement

All,

Where is a reliable place to purchase a rear axle? OEM close to 900 but found some for like 220 dollars on FPEuro. We were at the track my buddy broke his.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fcp is your bet bet, personally I strictly use them for the replacement parts.

Find a low mile car, same as his, that's being stripped down and being sold for parts. Even cars that might be totalled from a front end collision, which shouldn't impact the rear axle. There are several that are based on the exact scenario I used above on Craigslist and EBay. I wouldn't recommend new, simply because it's not necessary.

I've bought mine off of car-part.com, I try to buy from California or somewhere it doesn't snow.
