actually, the axle back exhaust (ONLY) with the 102mm tips is $1395+tax&shipping.

and the midpipe is additional 649 +tax&shipping.

but i was lucky enough to find a used one in the classifieds.


edit: im sure you can get them cheaper from vendor (esp during holidays) but brand new this is what you can expect to pay.

I'll get some nice sounding clips up after my oil change is done at my Indie shop while it's still the garage, sounds better as its not getting distorted like outdoors. I should have taken some clips when we were changing out my battery, he wanted to listen to the turbo and exhaust as he thought maybe i had a small leak, but found nothing, the res delete makes it so u can hear the rushing sounds when driving in WOT..

Also if the Bimmercode dosen't take out the droning from the Active Sound Coding, i think i will add either a Remus Axleback or a Magnaflow exhaust only which is pretty cheap for that one.

cool, let me know... also i think AA is cheaper than remus (def check out the classifieds, some gems there). not sure about magnaflow. havent heard too many ppl use that on their cars.

mine is getting installed monday, assuming i have the time to get it done. smh

Damn... really, they are getting expensive. I don't know what to do for exhaust for my next car....probably weld it myself using cardboard.

classified section is great, but you really need to live on there and try to grab these gems before its gone...

i missed out on kw v1 like that, someone was selling it for a GREAT price... and it was for the xdrive model too

Cool, cool, hopefully the weather also gets abit warmer here in Northern Maryland, been chilly and i wanna go somewhere on a private location to film the driveby's and take off's so we can hear what it sounds like. Also does this forum allow video uploads or do you have to link it?, i tried to upload an earlier muff delete vid i have before it was tuned and it wouldn't do it...

I hope these work, these were recorded before my recent BM3 Stge 1 tune, when the weather gets nicer i will upload ones with the tune to see if it makes a difference in sound. Also just a note, i heard someone on this or another thread of a Remus exhaust and i can tell you mine just like this sounds identical to his and if not mine sounds slightly better. To me the cost of that Remus, dosen't justify what i paid for my custom set up, JMHO...

This is how you test an exhaust... first you look for police car then follow it around, do a flyby in sport mode ( speed limit). If you get pulled over means your exhaust is too loud

not bad, im def curious to hear after the bm3 install....

my car after my bm3 stage 2 and dp changed the car, now with my exhaust installed its a whole different ball game....im happy i skipped the midpipe cause its loud enough for me now

edit: the car def feels faster too....

Nice, can u also get some clips up, i found out if off YT, u just need to copy link and just paste it to the reply section 🙌.. I am still hesitant if i will ever go to a Stge 2, i wanna at least get my TC replaced first and have my indie run full dio's on it before hand. I am still using the 91 map and not the 93 just to be safe, it hurts it for HP though like i think 8HP, 2TQ and 1PSI worth..

Okay here is a teaser with the BM3 Stge 1 91 tune, i think it sounds much better, i adjusted the burbles to 1.5 secs, and aggression to 3.5 i believe...

Chop off the muffler & see if you like it, cheap to take off & put back on if you really don't like it. But if you want extra noise + no drone just chop that shit off. Or cut off the muffler & weld in another resonator and see if you like that. GL OP, everyone likes different things. Best way is to explore and listen to others cars.
