F30 Vin Decoder

How does one go about decoding F30 Vins when https://www.mdecoder.com/ is down?

Google 'VIN decoder' and use a different one. There are quite a few.

Looks like they are changing mdecoder to pay for play. Below is the current message when I attempt to pull up a VIN.

You have reached a daily limit for using decoder service.
Paid access will be implemented in few days.

I have heard that BMW has changed the structure so that last 7 are not unique so you need all 17. I have found no sites working

Does Bimmercat give you the same information that mdecoder does?

I don't know what mdecoder shows. Bimmercat shows everything that's on my invoice, though some items are listed in German.

Just got a message saying my daily use has been exceeded. This was the first time I used it in weeks. I guess they want to get paid now. I'll try bimmercat. Any other good ones for reference on this thread?

it's wierd because mdecoder worked for a friend yesterday, but I tried twice and it didnt.. I'm gonna try with a device I've never used before to access the site, maybe that will work.

like Bimmercat.com, it says service is unavailable now.

maaaan, I really liked mdecoder

especially being in the market now

some other sites but they are all paid, seriously mdecoder was the best one
