Hey guys I'm new here and unfortunately I got into a major accident recently. I was driving a 2014 428i and I was wondering if anyone here had a good reliable website for cheap parts?(overseas is welcome) I really want to keep this car man. I appreciate all replies and thank you again!

Wow, I hope you are recovering well from the accident, and sorry for the loss of the car.
You can check getbmwparts, if going to replace all parts with OEM. Btw, what did your insurance say about the vehicle, total loss? Don't know if it is worth repairing all the damages yourself as costs could exceed the value of what it is. |

Thanks for the wishes, I did not make a claim with insurance due to only having liability and being 18. My dad has plenty of connections with body shops and they say it is fixable, I am just in charge of parts. Thank you for the website I will look into it!

Jyonan30, I hope you are OK and no one else was hurt. The photos suggest a major repair effort ahead. Did a body shop provide an initial estimate?

No initial estimate yet, I personally am estimating $4500(ish). Thank you for your wishes!

I’d have to say I think that’s going to be well above your $4500ish estimate to repair. I’m thinking more like almost $10K. These vehicles aren’t cheap to repair. Best of luck, though! |

Hey man, I'm glad you're still in one piece, and most importantly out of harm's way. I've done extensive upgrades / retrofits on my vehicle, and can point you towards the shops / even OEM manufacturers, that offer the best bang for the buck.
Make sure you list the parts you're looking for, or PM me your vehicle order list, with the parts that need to be replaced. Good luck with your project and keep us posted! |

This has to be a joke....
If its for real, happy you're ok.... but #1 getting parts during the pandemic is going to be a challenge, #2 its going to be a LOT more than you think, i suspect you will end up paying more in parts\repairs\bodywork than a used one will cost. |

Dinging just the front bumper is $4000. I know, that’s what my wife’s bumper smash in my f31 was.
I’d estimate 10-15k. You might want to see what a blown engine/trans car would cost you to buy amd then swap over parts into that chassis.

Sell this thing for parts and go buy yourself something else. You will likely spend way more on parts and labor than its worth. And there's no guarantee that it will ever drive the same even if you do manage to repair most of the damages unfortunately
