my friend' B48 engine just complete his dyno run
looking solid and smooth graph on BM3 stage 2
stock BMW map is not so smooth

Dyno
Red: Stock
Blue: Downpipe/Pipe/Dinan Exhaust/Stock tune
Black: Downpipe/Pipe/Dinan Exhaust/Air Filter Drop In/Bootmod3 Stage 2

186hp & 283Nm. Stock
296hp & 443Nm. Bootmod3 Stage 2/Downpipe/Dinan Exhaust/Air Filter Drop In

yeah, we were suprised with the result aslo

now it made me curious and eager to perform dyno on my car
we had different exhaust setup and intake setup

he's been running on stage 2 for 6 months and no problem so far
makes me want to change to stage 2

Me too, but imma gonna have to wait til i get some extra, extra maint done first, and those will cost a few more $$$$$, glad this is a turtle's pace for my project lol..

Do you know (or can you check) what boost his car is targeting/running on stage 2?

My point is that your car is boosting 10 psi MORE than what the dme is targeting. So what's going on with boost control that allows this? Seems incredibly dangerous

by any chance, do you guys have the time to look on the issue of GTS startup roar on F30?
the rpm will dip to 500 rpm, like its about to stall, and car will vibrate for 1-2 seconds

Hi everyone! I'm very much considering flashing stage 1 93 octane on my 3 series but have some questions. The car currently only has a muffler delete and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience doing stage 1 with only a muffler delete. I can't find any videos of this exact setup, would there be any burbles? I understand that it isn't a good idea to mess with the burble settings since I don't have a catless DP but do the OTS burble settings improve the burbles on the muffler delete at all? If anyone has any advice or videos of this setup I would love to hear from you. Thank you so much everyone!

You'll be able to to get burbles but I wouldn't recommend doing so on the stock cat, as you pointed out.

it'll kill the stock cat. ran it around for a couple days just to see, but turned off the burbles until a catless dp was installed. seriously

Thanks for the advice, I definitely won't mess with the burble settings until I get a catless DP installed! Do you think just the regular stage 1 bootmod3 tune would increase burbles on the exhaust at all even if I weren't to alter the settings?
