Besides sport mod(Not even sure if sport mod makes more pops but thats what ive heard) or resonator delete, I dont think there is a better option for more pops. Catless dp and muffler delete gives best sound and pops.

You dont have any options
You want a burble sound, get the a flash tune. My favorite is Active Autowerke OBD flash (no ECU removal required)

Hey man! The only good sounding pops you'll really get is with a tune such as bootmod3 ive been running it for almost 2 years now with no issues as a daily driver, check out my IG @glacier.f30 to hear the pops

Buy BM3 and if you don't want the power boost, you can always run stock map and modify the burbles. With the exhaust pipe you won't get any more burbles, just drone and barely burbles because it gets very hoarse. If any strong burbles plant an Armitryx, although you get a melody cheaper

This is where I added a hanger when I did my muffler delete. One on the rear crossmember (added) and used the stock hanger on the drivers side.
Note I currently have a 335i muffler on the car now but gives you an idea

as posted in the other thread, I added this hanger and used two 90 degree bends with pipe in between making another hanger to use the factory hanger on the rear driver's side. I did something similar to this since I had extra things hanging around:
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...7&postcount=16 hope this helps. Kids did this with autozone/advanced auto parts bends, but same idea, crappy welds overall from their work. |
