F30 Style 403, Biggest tire?

I've been searching forums and haven't been able to find any info.

I have the Style 403 Wheels. Looking to fit bigger tires since I have no grip after a few mods.

From some searching I believe the wheel size is 19x8" ET36 in the front currently running 225/40/R19 / 19x8.5" ET47 in the rear currently running 255/35/R19.

you searched?... https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1678451

255/35/19 is widest recommended for 8.5" rear, however some have run 265/35/19.

i recommend 255/35/19 from the extreme performance summer or track category if you want super grip. you'll notice tires in those categories and are a bit pricey and have low treadwear ratings, so they don't last very long.

otherwise do 245/35/19 front, 255/35/19 rear, michelin pilot sport 4s

+1, he linked to he thread i started for this same question. See the details for the exact PS4S combo i ordered there. Awesome tires, i have had for about 1.5 months and have done everything from traffic driving to autocross.

Had a buddy run 265/40 on his 403m's and it looked pretty goofy. He did it for "traction" but I mean... eh. But then again you're asking about 265/35 so. Pretty sure that difference in side wall profile makes a huge difference in looks.

FWIW i can launch from a dig with little to no spin with 255/35/19 PS4S running MHD 2+ tune with VRSF IC+CP and fabspeed catted DP. I used to spin 1st and even 2nd gear from a roll with the same exact size in bridgestone RFT even though they were also a UHP summer tire.

Generally speaking, getting stickier tires is better than going wider.
