I am using V-Power (which in my country is only 98 Oct, whereas in other European countries - 100 Oct) on both my cars. I do recall a noticable difference between the standard Shell fuel and V-Power on my Audi a few years back. I wouldn't bet on it though. I am confident it cannot harm but only provides potential advantages for the engine and the performance of the vehicle so I use it exclusively. It is purely based on trust that Shell are giving me something more as I volunteer to pay more. Whether it is additives or just leaner fuel ...

Normally fill up with 97 or 98 RON
Have been away for a few days in rural Herefordshire and forced to fill up from empty with regular unleaded. Very little difference in throttle response but a slight fall of around 3 MPG on a 160 mile return journey It's horses for courses - you pay more and you get better MPG. And it's supposed to be better for the engine of course. I'm not convinced about the performance improvements - can't feel that much of a difference in my B58

+1 for V-Power; been feeding it from the day one.
To compare: I get way better throttle response [engine really picks up] and overall mileage with V-Power then with Sunoco's Ultra Now here's something interesting. I have two Shell gas stations near from where I live - the gas I get from one of them burns out way more faster than from the other .. :/ |

I almost exclusively run Shell V-Power (that or Chevron Supreme). I'm pretty sure the V-Power is mainly about the additives/detergents that help prevent sludge and carbon buildup (much line Techron in Chevron gas). AFAIK, octane is octane and performance shouldn't vary much between equal ratings of different brands, but I could be wrong.

I run Shell because I get the $0.10 a gallon off deal & its the closest to the house.
Also run with Costco, BP ($0.05 off) & Exxon. I don't use discount off brands because I don't know what kind of additive packages they have in them. I use 93 which is premium in NC.

Don't be deceived by the Joe Romano commercial... Gas is the same don't matter the brand. Only Race Gas or other mixture similar is superior.🤣

I got the 10 cents off as well with my Ralph's card. I also get 5.25% cash back but that's at any gas station.

Gasoline is a commodity. The additive packages the delivery driver dumps in the trailer is brand specific & not the same across the board.

I only run Shell, or if I'm not near a Shell, BP. The car just seems to run smoother on V Power.
When I take the car in to the dealer and they fill it up, it's a noticeable difference until I refuel. Very small, but noticeable. |

Run either Chevron 94 or Shell V- mainly Chevron. No noticeable difference.

Any Top Tier Gas @91 no ethanol. I usually use Chevron, Costco, Shell and sometimes Mobil. Depending what's most convenient.

Shell ethanol free. Less separation when the car is sitting in the garage and slightly better mileage

I use either Costco or Shell. Out here, we are limited to 91 octane so that is what I use. |

I run Costco gas most of the time. The only downside is that they make you buy 1000L at a time.
No but really, I haven't noticed any difference between Costco gas (Husky energy here in Canada) and Shell. |

It's all non sense when someone see the difference. It just your driving style that week that provided you with an extra miles per gallon.
