seatbelt ticking - fixed?

i had my car in for service last week and they performed the service bulletin for fixing the clicking noise coming from the seatbelts/b-pillar. i got the car back and it still makes a faint clicking noise from time to time.

for those of you who have had the TSB done, do you still get any clicking?

How long did it take for the ticking to start, I have not heard the "tick" yet

I brought mine in with the TSB last week. They had to "order a part" and will call me when they get it in, to fix the seatbelt.

IF it ticks after this nonsense, I am going to be PISSED.

I had my dealer replaced BOTH sides driver and passenger. They had to order the new spring washers and did replace both. I have had my car back for 2 weeks and not a peep. I do however have a rattle in my gauge cluster and in the rear armrest which piss me off to no end! This is why I love the Audi, 35k miles and not a single rattle or issue since new. The E90 is more fun and all that but the interior build quality is not as refined or as solid, IMHO. I feel like all the screws and stuff are just undoing themselves in the BMW. The sad thing is after watching the DVD and all the material they have on interior noises and how the car is designed to not have any I would say that it is good marketing and I am not drinking the Kool Aid.... the E90 has as many rattles as my Mini Cooper S which I knew was going to have them and for what that car costs it should have some, the E90 on the other hand has no excuses.. Ok I am done now.... Best of luck!

Same here. The car had a ticking sound the first month of ownership then it went away. I like that, self healing!

Thankfully I have not experienced the ticking. No problems.

Funny you said that. I have had my car for only like 4 months, and I too think my E90 "feels old". I also can't even imagine how the E90 is going to feel if any of us keep it for 4+ years. God Help Us.

I had 4 E46s...and even as they aged, the interiors still sounded and felt tight and new. I think all new BMW models are not a solid and over-built like the older models. Sad.

Mine just started the "ticking" noise -- after 9,000 miles or so.

But to me the car doesnt "feel old" ...its hard for me to believe I've had it almost 7 months.

Ticking was worse after they installed the washer. I need to take it back in.
