Anybody been running BM3 stage 2 with a catless DP ? How’s the experience? How long have you had it installed?

I’ve been running BM3 stage 1 for a few days & have a catless DP on the way to run stage 2 Although I’ve seen one review where a guy ran Stage 2 BM3 & blew his motor!😱 what’s your thoughts??

Yoo you just described the exact problem I have on my stage 2 440i with a catted downpipe. Did you end up fixing it? also does this only happen on non-sport modes?

I ran a stage 2 tune both OTS and a custom map (which also had flames) by F80paul with a catless downpipe for a good year on e30. No issues there. I ran stage 2+ ots e30 for awhile and no issues. Now im at the stage 3 or whatever with upgraded turbos and everything is going great.

not sure what review you saw but i believe the consensus was that it was not the tunes fault but rather a faulty fuel injector which caused the misfires. if you log your car, you want the cleanest logs possible to ensure that everything is going as designed. the boost level and overall demands that stage 2 runs is considered very low when you start to go up the totem pole.

What I'm hearing isn't broken, its "as per design" as the engineers say.

I just don't fully know what I'm hearing. Maybe back up through the intake or something?
