You would think with N20 engine failures they would be done using that engine. Or did BMW fix the defects?

similar situation, I own 420i with n20 b20 and thinking to add
catted sport DP (don't want to fail emissions) FMIC with hard charge pipes. and bm3 stage 1 (want to be extra safe) I wanted to return my car and get some 335i, however, they won't accept my car if the receiving value is higher than the 50% of the value of the new car, so I'd have to go for an M3 or something as the 4 series is still valued high in CR. However the driving and style of the car makes up for the lack of power, I hope my mods will make it better ![]() |

I am on my second 320i. I agree with most of the posts, it’s a fun, economical car. You won’t be winning many races, but you will enjoy the ride ! I just did the JB+ and felt like this perked things up a bit.

Correcting myself as n20/n26’s produced up to 02/2015 are covered under the 7/70 warranty. From what I read it seems that the 03/2015 and on received the updated parts.

It's funny that some people consider that a 320i is not an "enthusiast" car yet back in the days when bimmer were regarded as "true driving machines" they were all 4 cylinders with significant less power than a 320i.

1991 318is is a fun car. Stripped down but you could rev the living daylights out of that M42.
