B58 turbo blown?

Hey guys, first problem with my 2018 340i at 18k miles. I was going about 160, and a drive-train malfunction came on. Scanned the codes and got these
123516 electric wastegaste control cable disruption
120408 charge pressure control, shutdown: pressure build-locked
I cleared the codes, and it didn't come back but turbo is not spooling at all. Any ideas?

Whatever the reason it seems you have to take it to the service center.

a broken wastegate doesn't mean a blown turbo. Sounds like you either need to replace the wastegate or replace the wiring (potentially melted or something from the heat of cruising at 160, idk).

Wastegate Part Number: 11658662676

From his car description he seems to have BM3 which will void the warranty anyway.

160km or 160mph

Either way these cars are designed to cruise on the autobahn at high speed incl 160mph

If I own a car designed for the autonahn and 58k mrsp, you best believe i'm going 160 whenever I feel like it. It should be able to handle it no doubt.

Yeah, I started her up this morning and did some pulls and turbo is fine. I did get the code that read turbo wastegate solenoid "A" so we'll see what the dealer says.

Just flash it back to stock and take it back to the dealer, It looks like the wastegate went bad. Not a huge deal and about an hour to fix.
