You can use right now but we are also testing optimized maps for XHP equipped cars - update will be soon and free of course.

What exactly is "Sport cooling mode for increased water / air intercooler cooling" and how does this actually work?
We did multiple software changes to optimize how the water / air inter cooler works.

Anyone has the link for the K+DCAN cable? Most K+DCAN cable I saw on Amazon only supported E series. Not sure if these work with the 340i.

Yes, in a post up top, MHD rep said they are working on an optimized map to pair with the xHP trans flash.

You can use the OTS tune with XHP installed even without the option being available at the moment, the XHP option only optimizes a few things to get even better shifts and benefit 100% from XHP. We are working on it and the release will be soon!

We recommend using the BimmerGeeks Pro Cable, you can find links in the user guide, on our Homepage and in the FAQ.

I ran MHD on my N54 for years and was quite happy.
Back then BM3 was not around.
What sets your tune apart from BM3 for someone comparing both?

Yes, I would like to know as well from user experience the difference between MHD and BM3 as I am on the fence as to which one to get. I know MHD has been in the business much longer.

Any reason for only + 13 NM for stage 1? I see an improved curve but...

Most cars do +50 or more and the torque is a lot longer available with our tune. You can basically see no drop in torque till 5000RPM.

Stock run on this car was a little higher than what we usually see.

We will share more customer dynoruns soon - this is not a "best off, highest reading car and dyno run".

Definitely looking forward to more customer dynos. Been shopping for a new vehicle and considering a B58 of some sort. Coming from an e92 N55 with the MHD backend with FBO

Maybe on a stock 340 but this is an M240 (factory BMW tuned B58)
so us M240 owners will not have a substantial TQ benefit going into stage 1.

Installed xHP transmission tune and stage 2 MHD tune and I am already super impressed especially coming from the DINAN Stage 1 v1 piggyback. Only got a short drive in but the smoothness and the power are impressive. I will drive it easy for a couple of days and then will install my high flow cat next weekend hopefully when it gets here and then do some logs. This is my first experience with a flash tune and it was pretty easy and straightforward. The flash quit part way through the first attempt (moment of panic) but I re-ran it with no issues. I did use a trickle charger to get the battery to 100% and left the charger on during the install, so no worries there. So far, I'm a very happy customer.

How do you like the trans tune so far? Which stage are you running?
