trying to find the previous owner of this 335...

So I went and took a test drive.
I love the car, but it's had damage reported and there's a few inspection failures recently as well.

There's a front and rear camera that I think have been retrofitted as well since the rear backup looks janky as hell through the screen.

Can anyone help with this?
It came from Audi brooklyn.

Definitely retrofitted. There is no PDC button and the front view shown in one of the pictures is somehow overlaying navigation. How do you engage the front or rear cameras in that car?

No one will release info on the previous owner. Certainly BMW will not.

I’d personally move on and look for another. Unless things are properly fitted you’re probably in for a whole world of pain.

Reverse and drive initiate the cameras.

You might be right. Car has a bunch of nice mods too, but definitely not worth the headache of those poorly installed parts.

thanks people!

Take it to a reputable bodyshop for a PRI. Post repair inspection.
I looked and the vehicle was serviced at a few different dealers around the area and had 3 previous owners.

Dealers are not supposed to give you previous owners info and it will be next to impossible to find out the actual damage from the accident.

I just went through this myself but I manage a collision center so I knew what to look for. Carfax is fairly useless. It said my car was in a rear collision and I checked every inch and found nothing.

Good luck though.....

Yea I looked through the carfax and damage was reported, the front bumper and hood is misaligned, has a gash in the door, the carbon accent's are all loosely fitted too. I'm avoiding it.

However these are the remaining contenders in order of preference.

Silver/red all day long. That red 335 reminds me of all the red cars (mostly miata's) my sister's owned. The tan interior on the blue one would be a PITA to keep clean, plus it looks cheap. My taste is pretty bland though as I've owned 20+ cars over the 10 years and all have been either black, white or gray.
