Can't comment on the specifics, but to say I had a Fabia as a hire car in Spain a few years back it was gutless but OK however the A/C was asthmatic with a gentle breeze on full tilt. It was cool but just no wind behind it.

On that basis alone I would prefer a little more get up & go, as from experience when I had a 2.0 litre 9000i Saab some years ago it would run out of puff on some uphill sections and a real PIA.

So if you live in a humpy area, a bit more power perhaps. BUT as Terry said damp dogs in a car, you need A/C to clear the windows and help ditch the smell!

Can you not go drive both and see which you prefer?

I clicked on the profile and it tells me when I joined (2018! yikes nearly 3 years ago!) but cannot see the time of Last login maybe because I use the android app.

Get the 60bhp and stick a K&N air filter on it. That used to add at least another 40bhp when I was young...

Decided that a couple of hundred extra for a/c on the 95hp was too much but 40k extra for an 840i coupe was OK.....

especially as only an idiot would blow big money now with the economic calamity that is about to ensue....

I think that sums up a few of the posts before he disappeared for a while!
