Trans difference between RWD and XDrive?

Hey everyone! I have a 2013 335i xDrive with the 6 speed manual which has developed the bad second gear syncro issue. I'm able to get another used transmission for a really good price but it's for a RWD car. I've tried to do some research and have come up with little info on if the transmission will work or not. Real oem shows different part numbers for each so I would assume they are different but a few things show they are the same. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated before I drop a bunch of money on something that might not work and will be stuck with it. Thanks!!
