OP - glad you are enjoying your ride been thinking of selling my mods and going back to factory and accepting my N26 for what it is. A peppy 4-cyl for daily driving
You have a N26 in Canada? Did you import it from a SULEV state in the US?

All standard BMWNA loaner vehicles are SULVEV so it was already in Canada when I bought it from the dealer.

I'm at just over 3 months and it's been great. Maintenance is pretty easy. I do wish I could have found one that was an M-Sport but used selection wasn't that great around me. I will do the bumper conversion and do the steering wheel and shifter upgrade at some point too. Kies also makes a digital dash that's like 1700, may be worth the upgrade since it looks so nice. I also just did plugs and coil packs at 105k, checked the compression and all 6 were between 178 and 192 which is definitely within range, so she's healthy. I would say my car as it sits is just short of the Ultimate Driving Machine. Run flats are trash and the regular sport line steering wheel leaves something to be desired. With an MHD 2+ tune and XHP stage 3 and FBO though she moves real good, although the PWG version is a little under-powered compared to the EWG version. All in I am happy with the car. My only complaint is the trans is pretty rough when its 30f or colder out, once it's warmed up no issues, fluid and pan have been done so I think it's just the line pressure from the tune causing it to be a little grumpy. I think I may keep this one for quite some time, see how many miles before it shit's the bed.

Best of luck. If you haven't done so already, ditch the run craps. Best mod for the money you can do.

It's on my list, since they are almost brand new Pirelli Cinturato's and it's winter right now I'm gonna run them, they only give me issues when it's wet and I full send on any paint. Other than that they hook well with the xdrive, just makes plenty of noise and add to harshness in the ride quality.

Just remember, when you do it you'll ask yourself, "why didn't I do this sooner?"

I waited until mine run flats wore out too. That's 30k miles I cannot get back.

I think while Kies makes useful videos, their shop is often quite.... overpriced. I got the cluster for 1k off eBay, and got coded by Steve at significantly less than 1700 all in.

Not often I come across someone who has owned more cars than me! I think I'm up to 59 or 60 now, in 44 years of driving. Longest I've ever owned a car was my 91 BRG Miata that I had for 4 1/2 years. Our 228i rag top is my first BMW, but now I'm itching for my second and looking at 335i's. To the OP...I admire anytime who is still in love with their car after so long. Maybe I'll get there too some day....

I had to go back and drive my 340i yesterday, and let me tell you, the difference between it and my M2C is astonishing. The 340i felt so disconnected from everything.
