Trouble Connecting N55 JB4 extra EWG wire

I just got a JB4 for my 2014 335xi and got through almost all of the installation smoothly until I ran into an issue trying to connect the extra EWG connector (purple & blue wire).

The connector looks correct just flipped. The car connector is on the right in the image and the JB4 connector is on the left. If I rotate the connector 180 so that the prongs align then the JB4 connector gets hung up cause the thicker lock portion doesn't have enough room to fit between the female portion of the connector and the main body of the EWG.

I'm concerned about forcing this connection. Thoughts?!

Looks like you have the N20 EWG connector, but need the N55 one.

The N20 & N55 take different JB4 boards & harnesses, correct? I would just order the extra EWG wire from Burger and see if that works, but I'm now concerned that I'm going to ruin something if this ended up being the wrong harness/board not just wrong EWG wire.

The person I bought the JB4 off of said they had it connected to there '15 335i (N55).

So it looks like there are different JB4s for the N20 & N55 engines. Is there a way to tell what circuit board & wiring harness I have? All of the other connectors fit well and locked in. I'm just concerned that I might have gotten a N20 JB4 as well as the EWG wire and don't want to damage anything by running the wrong tuner.

Thanks!
