High-pitched noise in cabin

I have searched and several people have had this problem:

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=815762

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=877990

I had the dealer lookup the service bulletin number - 640915

"The Electric Blocker Valve needed to be replaced. According to my invoice the cause was the flow of refrigerant through the expansion valve SI B64 09 15. As per SI B64 09 15, replaced A/C line between condenser and evaporator with updated part with electric blocker valve. I had this done a few days ago so I cannot for certain claim this worked since this is a somewhat random occurrence but I am hopeful. My service manager stated that the compressor was also at risk of being replaced..."

Of course the dealer says it is not covered under CPO - $900

Anyone else had this covered?

Did it fix the problem? Do you still hear that annoying beeping sound?
