320i BimmerLink Exhaust Flap
Hello all! I have a stock F30 320i. As many of you all know, there's an app called BimmerLink. And on that app, you can open up the exhaust flap. That's pretty much the only reason I want this app. Should I expect to hear a louder exhaust tone? Also, what else would I find this app to be useful for?

If you have a 320i you don't have an exhaust flap.

Yes the 320i does not have the exhaust flap. Bimmerlink is pretty useless imo, I think everything was in German when I got it a while ago. BimmerCode is useful for coding, then you can use nearly any OBD linked app on the App Store for other parameters.

Even if you did have an exhaust flap, BimmerLink is for diagnostics and it is true you can open the flap but it's for testing purposes and once you shut off the car the flap will return to normal operation.
