My first bmw
Hi,
registered a couple of months ago since buying my very first bmw. Long time japanese car owner: toyota, honda, mitsu, mazda. Changed careers and after a year in the new role got myself a decent raise. Bought myself a 2017 330i xDrive Sport line. Loving it to death right now. My only bad experience is hitting the worst pothole of my life 5 days into getting it which destroyed my driver side front tire (bridgestone potenza's) and benting my rim. $700 later and im good again lol |

Looking into Dinan springs and bump stops I read on here that H&R’s are a bit bouncy and as much as I want to eliminate wheel well gap, I don’t want to ruin the smooth ride. (Montreal roads are the worst) |

Invest in a set of coilovers with a dampening system. I also didn’t want to lose the smooth ride so I bought ST XA coils. Best decision. Since you live up north, you can raise when you want and drop it once the snow is gone.

I used to go to dawson college and hung around DT all the time in my younger years, having a car DT was a pita, i dont envy you :P, at the time i lived in NDG, most of the time i'd just bike over to school\work (worked on st.laurent street, north of sherbrooke)... taking a car was both risky for the car and the wallet hehe. post some shots of the 666m's when you mount them! |
