Hey everyone,

I have a problem that I am trying to solve.

I have a F31 Luxury Line with the most basic leather seats (fully manual without heating)

I bought 2 sports seats from F30, again fully manual, the only thing that is electric is the support sides.

I have watched a tutorial on youtube how to do the swap to avoid airbag dashboard errors and it worked.

Now, the problem I have is that the passenger seat doesn’t recognize if there is somebody on it (so it doesn’t trigger the seatbelt alert)

Both seats support sides don’t work.

What should I do to make everything work?

Does it require coding, wiring?

One thing that I forgot to mention is that the seats I bought are from a right hand drive car (UK) and my car is a left hand drive.

So my car yellow plug from the driver’s side had 3 plugs, while the new seat has 2 only.
The passenger’s side has 4, and the new one has 2.

I also swapped my seatbelts from the old seats to the new seats to avoid any error codes.

Any suggestions?

Hey, thanks for the question.

I would like to make sure that the side bolsters work since there is a button on the side of the seats and I would like to make it work. I am looking for a way around it. Any suggestions?
