most minimalistic LCI ever, what a disappointment.

From the looks of it, the tail lights seem to be the same size, looks like it could be an easy swap (coding required).

Ive been saying since day 1 i wish they offered the brown leather sport seats, it would look good with my EB car........and now they finally did, but no EB more EB haha.

oh well, doesnt look like im staying with BMW that much longer, i think im jumping ship (from the 3 series at least) once my lease is up.

I like it. The tail lights look futuristic.

First to take off the 340i and place my 335i on the back though....just kidding.

The power bump is nice, will compete with better with the S4/Mercedes....though the S4 is getting a new model in 2016.

Everything is what I expected, the walknappa dash was definitely needed to spruce an already ordinary interior. Can't wait to see reviews on the reworked steering.

Oh, perhaps BMW can do something with the shifter area. All that plastic? At least extend the dash trim there or do something, it really brings down the interior a bit.

And why isn't it called the M340i? So people can have a 340i without the M-package?

The tail lights have much more depth and a three dimensional look to it, which I like!

Almost like all us BMW fanatics get punished for supporting a new model line up.. You buy the car of your dreams and surprise! BMW releases a "better" version..not cool..

Any there any shots comparing the pre-LCI to LCI?

Whilst the rear lights might just bolt onto a pre-LCI, the tailgate won't have the wiring in it for the indicators which now extend onto the lid.

This is actually going to be a great LCI. A lot more new things than the E9X LCI.

BMW is famous for understating their power output, but this is ridiculous, 0-60 in 4.6 seconds does sound like its substantially more that 320hp. MB C450 AMG claim 4.9, with a lot more hp and tq.

It is the gearbox. 340i has AT as standard.

That interior is so awful. Not worth the premium price tag. In fact the whole car is so ugly and boring, such a bad and inconsistent design. It just looks so outdated.

Comparing specs across manufacturers is not accurate unless an independent third party does the measuring.

330i is in BMW worldwide press kit btw, so anyone who wants to figure out if it's worth waiting for can look there.
So digging through everything, it looks like the 4 series is getting the engine change before its LCI. Just for anyone who didn't want to have to go searching. 330i is rated at 252hp @ 5200-6500 and 258 lb-ft at 1450-4800.

So the US model is sticking with the N47 but they're giving it a different tune?

IMO the chassis and steering improvements are the best sounding part of this LCI.

While the reduce slip during 8AT shifts sounds really good, the wider ratios sounds like a step backward from high performance.

The M3 interior must be an old photo too?
The F30 LCI has the old cup holder and a different led display for the air temperature etc in the center console. Or does that change depending on ambient lighting too? Can't remember.
