Hello, I haven't kept up with the forums... but is there a recommended coding software for BMWs?

I see e-sys talked about a lot, but I don't believe there's an iPhone version of it.

Is bimmercode/bimmerlink the recommended setup for coding and diagnostics?

E-sys is a software to be used on windows 10+. Use version 3.30.0 and psdz lite. This won’t cost you anything, unless you don’t have an ENET cable and a USB adapter for it

If you want to code solely on a phone, bimmercode will have everything you need

With bimmercode/bimmerlink soon or later you will run in trouble so learn how to code with esys and enet and use ISTA for diagnose. If you have some older car you can use free version of launcher pro 2.8.1 and older psdzdata lite example 4.39.20. but if you are using newer psdzdata you will need some better esys and launcher paid version. There is Bimmerutillity and esys ultra both launcher are good and use esys 23.xx and up.
