Single zone to dual zone climate panel retrofit

Hello all,

for some time I have been looking for a retrofit only for a climate panel from single zone to dual zone and this video actually explains everything i was searching for:

Simply, I want to remain single zone climate while having just putting this for a visual look.

Have anybody else done this also? Are there any cons of doing this?
Also, It is stated in video this is only availably for LCI models. Why's that? I got 2013 pre-LCI and i would like to do that so please advice!
