Has anyone lowered their GT 320D?

Hi,
I have just bought a GT 320D Sport Auto - I know not exactly the most exciting model in the range but with 4000 miles on the clock and £17k cheaper than from the forecourt new it seemed like a good deal. I also got a wheel & tyre deal threw in!
I must also admit that I wouldn't have set out to buy one of these, in fact I was going for a 520 Touring when this caught my eye. Anyway, I really like it now apart from the ride height and it's a little bit wallowy (if that's a word). There are some APEX progressive lowering springs around the net and I'm seriously considering this 35 - 40mm drop. It is said that there is an all round better handling experience and I don't think the car wouldn't be compromised with a boy racer tag. In fact I think the drop would make it a sleaker looking thing. I can't find any pics or reviews on the internet and just wondered if anyone has done this and what the results where before I take the plunge. My old car was a 2014 M135i so there's bound to be an expectation so I may be expecting too much but my god what a harsh ride that was. This car is also the greatest golf bag too

Wow, going from an M135 to a 320d must be a bit weird, they're two totally different "beings". I absolutely love my 320d and have never driven any other BMW, so I wouldn't know.

Anyhow, I'm also considering the Apex springs and was searching the forums for others who've bought them. I'll let you know when/if I do. Not sure I know how to install them.

Looking at the link supplied they want £121, but I guess you can find them from £100 and up. I'd really like to lower my GT, but a bit scared to take on a job like that on my own.
