330D GT M Sport coming!
Hi, new to the forum and new to BMW!
Just put my order in for a 330D in Estoril Blue with Oyster seats. I've been quoted approx 12 weeks. Can't wait! I have been driving a Merc C Class estate as a family mobile after having to get rid of my beloved Alfa 159 (it never broke down once! ). Whilst proficient at lugging a new family from A to B, it put a bit of a damper on my motoring enjoyment after the Alfa. I figure the the GT is going to provide the perfect balance driving and keeping my wife happy. Are there manuals I can download? Bedtime reading. In the UK the BMW website asks for a VIN to download it. Last edited by Palexr; 06-18-2015 at 03:29 AM.. |

Thanks, I will do. However watching a video in the office rather than reading a document is a controversial move...

The videos are much better than the manuals, as you see someone actually using the features. When I picked up my car I already knew as much about it as my SA did. What takes the longest to learn is the iDrive, as going through the menus isn't as intuitive as it could be. |

either use your cars VIN number if you know it or use google to find one, that is what I did as my car will only be delivered in August so I could already have a bed time read |

congrats! just purchased my first BMW as well and got word its on the delivery truck to the car dealer... mine only took 5 weeks from order to delivery, but it was the most excruciating month long wait ever. Be patient and live on this forum like I have been doing lol

Apparently we buy more convertibles than the rest of Europe put together... But hey! You can only live in hope! And the South of France is only a few hours drive away I guess. |

Haha, I ordered a sunroof as well just to let in some light, under no illusions about UK sunshine... Figured black leather and headlining might be a bit much in the back! Also impatiently waiting for my new car, been making do reading the US manuals and YouTube videos.

I enjoy the sunroof the most in the winter, as it brightens the car interior. But I only keep the liner open, not the glass. |

I can barely contain myself!
Strangely, from seeing next to none of them I have noticed 4-5 in the last couple of weeks. The other day I saw a 5 GT and mistook it for a 3 and have to admit I thought "Noooooo! What have i done!?!?" for the nanosecond it took me to realise my mistake. |
