2016 F34 SiriusXM Signal Issues

Hi All - new to the forum with a recently-purchased 2016 328GT. I've had SXM on various vehicles for the past several years & have been having issues rolling the subscription to the GT.

In iDrive, I can navigate to the satellite radio menu & I only have channel 1 available, and the audio comes in like Wayne ordering at the drive thru - choppy, not even getting a full word coming in. I've registered the radio ID to my SXM account & refreshed the signal on my own several times. I've worked with general SXM support who have refreshed & with their technical support who have also refreshed & tried researching to no avail.

I've reset the radio by holding the power button >30s, AM/FM/BT/WiFi all seem to be functioning normally. Not sure if this is a chipset issue (should be on the XM vs Sirius setup with 2016 MY), antenna issue (rare?), radio issue, or what. Anyone experience anything similar?

That’s the default channel when your head unit hasn’t been authorized.

You have either given SiriusXM a bad receiver ID or your unit isn’t taking the authorization.
